The control bar and the strings constitute the connection between puppeteer and marionette. Figure, strings and control bar form a highly complex system. The more sophisticated this system, the more diverse the movements of the marionette.
The Pendel control bar is a further development of the so-called “Bross control bar”. A great advantage is that it is very easy to handle. Generally, a puppeteer does not pull at individual strings, but will move the entire control bar. Owing to the fact that it can be adjusted in many different ways, very often complex and lively movements of the marionette are made possible by simply moving and turning the control bar.
