1. All four fingers of one hand hold the control bar handle. The thumb moves the leg pendulum. The arm jibs that are adjustable both vertically and horizontally define the basic position of the marionette’s arms and hands.
2. The head is turned by lowering and turning the control bar. Provided the arm jibs are adjusted correspondingly, the arms and hands will move in line with the turn of the head.
3. Every hand has its own second control bar with whose help the hand can be moved in a very differentiated fashion.
